Norwich Electric Tramways Company Ltd
It is intended to include a brief history of the Company on this page in due course.
The Norwich Electric Tramways Company Ltd commenced operations on the 30th July 1900 and ceased operations on the 10th of December 1935 when the tramway system was replaced with motor omnibuses operated by the Eastern Counties Omnibus Company Ltd, who obtained a controlling interest two years earlier in 1933. Construction work began on the 22nd June 1898.

NORWICH ELECTRIC TRAMWAYS OMNIBUSES
In addition to the electric tramway network, Norwich Electric Tramways Ltd operated a small fleet of motor omnibuses from their garage in Silver Road, Norwich. The following selection of photographs feature some of the motor omnibuses which were operated by the Company.
